First training session of preseason!

After undergoing health and fitness checks over the weekend, on Monday the first-team squad returned to training at the Ciutat Esportiva. At around 9.30 am CEST Dest, Piqué, Pjanić, Riqui Puig, Neto, S. Roberto, Umtiti, Iñaki Peña, Arnau Tenas, Álex Collado, Gavi, Comas, Nico and Yusuf Demir took to the field to begin the 2021/22 preseason. Brazilian Philippe Coutinho trained apart from the rest of the squad and the players will return to the Ciutat Esportiva for another session on Tuesday, also at 9.30 am CEST. Besides, before starting the first session of the preseason the FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta dropped by the Ciutat Esportiva to visit the first-team squad.
