The home stretch of the league season is upon us, and Barça face it defending top spot. Hansi Flick’s side have been incredibly consistent throughout the campaign, especially at home, where they have a perfect record from matches on Montjuïc, at the Estadi Johan Cruyff and at Spotify Camp Nou (17 wins from 17 games).
But the culers will now have to seal the title away from home, as four of the six remaining fixtures are on the road, where their record of 10 wins, one draw and four defeats is still strong, but not quite as much as when performing in front of their home fans.
Getafe and Osasuna, back-to-back
The blaugranes face the first two of these four away matches consecutively. The first stop is Getafe, this Saturday at the Coliseum, to take on José Bordalás’ side, who are in the thick of the race for European places and are one of the league’s most in-form teams.
Then Flick’s men travel to Pamplona to face Osasuna. Next up, and after the Clásico at the Spotify Camp Nou, they will head to Vitoria to play Alavés and to Mestalla to face Valencia, where the season will come to a close against two teams still battling to stay in the top flight. One of those stadiums could witness FC Barcelona being crowned champions once again!
