The Dutch midfielder has a sprained ankle whilst the Canary Islander has a right thigh problem

Tests carried out have confirmed that first team player Frenkie de Jong has a lateral ligament sprain in his right ankle. He is unavailable for selection and his recovery will determine his availability.

Furthermore, tests carried have confirmed that the first team player Pedri has an injury to the rectus femoris muscle in his right thigh. He is unavailable for selection and his recovery will determine his availability.

Frenkie de Jong twisted his ankle after 26 minutes of the game against Athletic Club on Sunday in San Mamés, his his 26th appearance of the season. De Jong has been a starter in all of his games this season for Barça, scoring twice.

Pedri left the field against Athletic Club right at the end of the first half to be replaced by Lamine Yamal. The game in San Mamés was the 24th appearance of the season for the midfielder, 16 of which have come as a starter and in which he he has also scored two goals.
