Activities to accompany the football

The eleventh edition of the Barça Academy World Cup has seen an increase in the number of players taking part compared to before the pandemic. There has also been a notable increase in female participation compared to the first edition last season. Mariona Caldentey is the ambassador for this year's edition and was there for the inauguration with Club president, Joan Laporta, while the other ambassador, Pau Cubarsí, will be responsible for presenting the trophies during the closing ceremony on Thursday.

Despite the rain on Monday, people were able to make the most of the wide range of options available at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper today and the games were able to be played without the weather interruptions of the previous day.

Recreational activities, marquees and a great atmosphere

Futtoc tables, shotometers, freestylers and a gaming zone are just some of the different leisure activity options to choose from to pass the time between games. Both children and adults can enjoy the different Barça activities.

There are also several food trucks and marquees where participants and attendees can enjoy different types of foods. This initiative is designed to complete the sporting experience and make things comfortable for attendees.
