After the sinking of the Bar&Co boat, the HG of the London PB, the club receive a signed first team shirt and a letter from president Joan Laporta

FC Barcelona showed their support for the London Barça Supporters' Club after their boat Bar&Co and headquarters sank into the Thames by sending the organisation a letter from president Joan Laporta and a  shirt signed by the Barça players. Furthermore, the Supporters' Club department at the Club has sent the London branch supplies of balls and other promotional material such as stickers, badges and flags. Not only has the Club come to the aid of the London branch of the Supporters' Clubs but fans also via a crowdfunding initiative to help following the loss of their London base.

On 4 January a violent storm sank the Bar&Co, a vessel that had been converted into a restaurant and venue on the River Thames and that had been for the last 15 years the headquarters of the London Barça Supporters' Club. "We have enjoyed some unforgettable nights on the Bar&Co and that will always remain in our hearts. We started the journey in 2008 by watching the first game under a young new coach called Guardiola, going to the final at Wembley in 2011 and other innumerable games in the league and the Champions League. The atmosphere was unbeatable and soon it became known as 'Camp Nou on Thames," read a press release from the London club after the unfortunate incident in which they also announced a crowdfunding initiative to help the boat's owners and working who had suddenly become jobless overnight.

After the appeal, the response from other Supporters' Clubs and fans has been excellent. The figure set as a goal for the crowdfunding project has been reached. "The response from the blaugrana family has been amazing," says Eduard Mañas, president of the London Supporters' Club. "Other Supporters' Club from all over have contributed and a lot of members have come by here," he added. Mañas is really happy with the support from the Club too: "We are moved and grateful to see how FC Barcelona have reacted to our problem."
