FC Barcelona representatives were engaged in two institutional events before this evening’s Clásico. The first was a New Espai Barça presentation and the second was the traditional meal between directors of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.
The Barça expedition to Madrid is led by Josep Maria Bartomeu, and he’s accompanied by vice presidents Javier Faus, Jordi Cardoner, Carles Vilarrubí and Jordi Mestre, and the directors Jordi Moix, Ramon Pont, Joan Bladé and Josep Ramon Vidal-Abarca.
The plane that carried the expedition arrived in Madrid at 11.45 AM. Upon arrival, Club delegates conducted a presentation of the New Espai Barça for local supporters clubs and Club members who live in Madrid. The event was led by vice president Cardoner and Pau Vilanova, directer of the Social Commission. In addition, former players Carles Rexach, Josep Maria Fusté, Quique Costas and ‘Lobo’ Carrasco also participated in the presentation.
Later that afternoon, Bartomeu, Faus and Vilarrubí, accompanied by general director Antoni Rossich, and director of football Andoni Zubizarreta, attended the traditional meal between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona representatives.
